This Sunday School class meets at 9:30 a.m. downstairs in Classroom 2. We will begin The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis on September 13, 2026.
Book Discussion Group
Mondays at noon, meet in the session room for salad, dessert, teaching, discussion, fellowship, and prayer. (Fall to Spring)
Lunch and Learn
This Sunday School class meets at 9:45 a.m. in the parlor and connects scripture and theology into current events, stimulating interesting discussion.
Wired Word Class
Come and play pickleball at the church Tuesdays at 2 p.m. and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. in our gym.

Mission
The first Friday of each month, a team of volunteers prepares a meal for the guests at the Community Inn, a local emergency shelter.
Homes of Hope
Each year in May we provide scholarships to Stanly County students pursuing higher education, especially those in need. Last year we gave out over $18,000.
Scholarships
We support this nearby Elementary School through providing luncheons for teacher appreciation, donating school supplies, helping proctor exams, providing a concert venue in our sanctuary, and more.
Central Elementary School
Our church helped establish this ministry that provides food, clothing, and financial assistance in 1985. We still support it regularly with donation drives, volunteers, and prayer.
Stanly Community Christian Ministry
Our church has been involved in multiple mission trips to support this Mwandi UCZ mission in southern Zambia of a hospital, a group of schools, a retirement home, a center for orphans and vulnerable children, and other ongoing projects.

Our church has been involved in multiple mission trips to this faith based organization that has created a loving home for children in Honduras affected by HIV/AIDS. They give children comprehensive care including education, medical care, and emotional and spiritual support. As the children grow into adulthood, the organization strives to prepare them for life.

The church has volunteers work to assist Stanly County Habitat for Humanity with their builds and programs.
Habitat for Humanity
This group creates prayer shawls to reflect the care and concerns of our congregation for those members who experience particular joys and challenges in life. Shawls have also been distributed, upon request, to individuals outside the congregation and to local agencies. This group meets the first Wednesday of the month from 1:30-2:30 in the parlor.
